This painting was based on a photograph by Stan Osolinski. It and many more can be found in his Book of 21 Postcards entitled 'The Wild Animals'

I did this work as a gift to him. I had the fortune to meet and talk with Stan at the Calgary Zoo one day. I found him very interesting to talk to. Stan has had the incredible opportunity to travel the world to take photographs of the splendid wildlife that grace our planet.

And so, from 'The Lens of Oz' comes my tribute to him, 'The Leopard of Oz'
